Myakka River State Park | Travel

While out and about, I stumbled across this small gem of a place called the Myakka River State Park.

Never heard of it? Me either. But, it was worth the $6 entrance fee.

I spent a few hours baking in the sun; wandering through a canopy walk, hiking to the top of a 75 foot watch tower for a spectacular view, all while being especially careful not to come across any snakes. I did spot a particularly large crocodile, but I had no desire to make his further acquaintance.

I am without Photoshop at the moment, so these pictures are basically as natural as it gets. What you see is what you get, I suppose. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy them.
